Crafting Cinematic Stories of Love and Connection
Every wedding is an opportunity to tell a deeply personal and authentic story. My approach to filmmaking is rooted in a love for both cinematic artistry and real, human connection—an approach that’s been shaped by years of leadership experience, travel, and a passion for storytelling.
From Operations Leader to Storyteller
Before I fell in love with filmmaking, I spent over 10 years as an operations leader, managing complex global projects for some of the world’s most recognizable brands and honing my leadership skills and attention to detail. This experience taught me how to navigate even the most intricate plans with precision and ease—a skill that allows me to capture weddings seamlessly. It was through extensive travel, however, that I discovered my passion for filmmaking. Whether walking through new city streets or exploring vast landscapes, I found that film had the unique ability to capture the emotions and essence of a moment to create something tangible that can remind you of what it felt like to be there. This led me to pursue storytelling through the lens of a camera.
Cinematic Inspirations
Much of my work is inspired by the films that move me. Terrence Malick’s Tree of Life—with its intimate close-ups and use of natural light—has taught me the importance of capturing expansive beauty alongside quiet, emotional moments. Spike Jonze’s Her and its cinematography by Hoyte van Hoytema has inspired me to incorporate nostalgic flashbacks and lens flares that evoke intimacy and depth. I love to weave these techniques into my wedding films, using light, movement, and memory to tell your story.
Y Tu Mamá También by Alfonso Cuarón and Emmanuel Lubezki is another touchstone, known for its raw, honest, and unfiltered approach to storytelling. I bring that same authenticity to my work, capturing the real, unscripted moments that unfold naturally throughout your day. For more high-energy, celebratory moments, I turn to films like Babylon or The Great Gatsby for dynamic party scenes. Each film I create draws from these cinematic influences to ensure that your wedding feels both epic and personal.
The Influence of Anthony Bourdain
Another significant inspiration comes from Anthony Bourdain and his shows No Reservations and Parts Unknown. Bourdain had a remarkable ability to connect with people on a human level, using food and culture as vehicles for exploring deeper truths. His honest, unscripted style is something I strive to bring into my wedding films. Like Bourdain, I believe that the most powerful stories are found in the real, unfiltered moments—the candid smiles, the shared laughter, and the quiet, intimate glances that often go unnoticed. My goal is to capture the authentic essence of your day, just as Bourdain captured the soul of the places and people he encountered.
Industry Recognition
I’m honored to have been named Member of the Year for 2024 by Washington Wedding Day Magazine. This recognition is a testament to my commitment to delivering exceptional films that honor the individuality of each couple I work with. It’s a reflection of the trust my clients place in me and my dedication to creating beautiful, timeless films that capture the heart of their wedding day.
Bringing Your Story to Life
I don’t just document weddings—I craft films that are cinematic, emotional, and deeply personal. Inspired by the masters of cinema, I blend storytelling, technical expertise, and a love for authentic connection to create films that are as timeless as the love they capture. Whether it’s the quiet moments or the grand celebrations, my goal is to preserve your day in a way that reflects who you are as a couple and what your journey means.
I can’t wait to hear your story and help you create a film that captures the beauty, love, and emotion of your wedding day. Let’s create something unforgettable together.

my style
HONEST, NATURAL, & REAL
the uniqueness of each couple is what guides my work
The couples who choose to work with me want a videographer who not only “captures” their wedding but one that creates a film of how it felt. The guiding principle of my work is this: create something with heart.
I also believe it’s important for you and your guests to be given the space to be fully present to experience the celebration naturally. This allows me to create a film that’s a true reflection of who you are during such an important part of your relationship’s story.
From the very first time you watch your film and every single instance thereafter, you’ll say “that was absolutely beautiful and exactly how our day felt.”
